I have decided to do a complete restart on this project From the ERD up.

Have Reworded the ERD Into something I like.
I do want to try a few idears on this project so  may have to change the ERD further into the project.

I've also add a payables as I wanted the user to be able to see if they are making any money by being able to add there costs for equipment and music plus adding there income from events.

I have completed works on both screens below.

This is not an accounts system but I have created a way so you can balance the incoming and outgoings all objects that deal with money will use the post and unpost functions so you can see at a glance if your making any money for a gven period.

Have updateed the bookings calendar so you can create bookings with a shortcut menu for the date you right click the calendar at.

Once you add a new town/city this screen will open allowing you to search for the location on google maps so you can get the travel Time for that town from your home location.

I have got the events screen working with the bookings calendar I still have the Book Reqular Event System to do but until I get the music section working I wont be able to move further with that screen

Will be upating the Bookings callendar tommorrow to show which days have bookings Plus which have events as well as booking(s)

Got the first part of the regular Events working I.E. it creates events, I only have the Diary Entries to do but that will be copying the diary entries for the selected booking and checking there are no other diary events for that Date/time

I haven't posted for a few days as have been very busy on this project

I have completed the main bookings system and added a reminders system plus been adding test data.

I have updated the main control but still have another list to add for the reminders.

NOTE: I have decided to move away from creating a list for artists as I did in Chart Tracker Elite.

Started Adding Tracks today but only with the manual system, Once I'm happy with it I'll move on to the files import.

Updated the tracks screen and added a folder name which at the moment is set for the music folder only but intend to use it with the Disc Image Link.

Been adding more tracks and tweeking the manual entry system which I now have working as I intended, But I do intend to futher test it, at present I have added 147 tracks but will take that to 500 before moving on.

The manual entry screen will stay open until you close it allowing you to add all the tracks you need.

The Track Names Editor, I am only working on one artist at present but you will be suprised How many times a track is released on different albums, Singles  I.E Live, Extended Etc.
I may add a system where a track can be switched with another thereby correting mistakes.

Tracks and others editor, Again the number of live and Extended tracks for a given artist makes this worthwhile.

I have also added a entry system tied to the artist combo box so if you type a artist who has not been added you can do a search if you think the artist may be in the system but under a different name or add the new entry which will be moved from the combobox to the entry screen.

It's Been A while since I posted an update but I've been very bussy.

The latest recordings screen that is about 90% complete now it just needs a import from web list  button and on the tracks a play track button.

Contnued Adding Tracks So far I have added 6188 plus with 4887 Track Names, I'm going to continue to add tracks with the Add From Folder System until friday then move on to the add from web system.

I still have a number of items required for the booking system but want to make sure the tracks system is 100% first.

one thing I am doing is while adding the tracks is go through my music files and clean them up as they are a mess which is one reason I haven't used the old data from my old program.

I did contact SEDA and they were kind enough to pass on a message to there membership about this project.

The Add From folder.
Because the add from folder can take 2-3 seconds I have added a message while the system does it's job which is:

• Get the details from the music file like name, artist, track#, length
• for each file the track name is checked with the data allready added if a match is found that Id is displayed in the Track ID Column
• The same is performed for the artist but the Artist ID is used to dispplay the found it

please note this will be covered in the help system once I start adding it.

Added the Add Tracks From Web Screen

The system still needs work and tweeking but works a charm.

This is the default view when the screen opens you can show and hide fields depending on your needs

Once you have copied the track list Clicking the show detailed view updates the display as below.

Been working on the music player and have to say I am really pleased with the results so far.

I still have a lot of work to do with it as I intend for it to play a complete album at present it will play the selected track in the recordings then other selected tracks from that recording By clicking the recording you wish to play this will stop the currently playing song and start your selected track.

I've also included the Genre, Dance Type and Collection lists so you can update these while listerning to a track.

I have now finished works on the music player For DJ 2020

Can play a single song, All songs in the list in order or readom songs from the list

This will also be avalable in the Music Ligrary I will be creating after DJ 2020

I am also thinking of creating a Library Version which can be opened from within both the above programs this is so you can continue work with each program while playing music which you can't normally do.

I have now added 15k tracks and still only touched the surface but the system is working very well, I'm still adding events plus additional event related items.

I have a number of reports to add plus have decided to add another screen to the recordings this will be a edit file screen where you can edit one or more files for a recording or add files for a recording no files have been added to.

Below is another new screen this is available by double clicking the track name of a recordings track or the new track entry/search screen I have found this useful when you have a new track that's not shown as being found in db but is displayed with the new track entry system to have one with a very similar name this will display the artist(s) for the similar item so you can decide better if you need to create a new track.

Continued Adding Tracks plus have now completed works on the screens side Of Db.

Have updated the Add tracks from web screen so it will now lookup artists for compilations I have a minor bit of testing to confirm both normal recordings and Compilations but I dont see a problem there.

I have been using a search/entry selection screen with the track names for a few weeks with complete success so have updated the artists sytem with the same sequence/ fields I will of course be testing it over the next few days

I didn't think I was going to need an event search screen, But I was doing something with the events and found I couldn't access the infomation I wanted so Have now Added a search.

The Search doe's a number of things after selecting an entry from the results.

• It will redisplay the calendar and show the month of the event selected.
• Opne the selected event

I was going to leave adding the Artists picture until the music Library version even though I had what I needed for it in the data file, But when I was going to create the last report for the artists I found it better to have now rather than later.

I have started adding the User manul Plus as I always use this to check each object and add any missing items/options or update code where needed, I would be expected to take at 1-2 weeks.

Also added a edit button so when an event has been marked complete you will still be able to edit it should you find mistakes at a leter date.

Also I found an error with the pre-booking requests so have recorded that plus tested to confirm correct operation.

I still have some work required on the event report I may copy this and make an invoice type report, I never used invoices but I think it would be better to include one rather than find out one was needed by a user.

Have been carring out futher checks and tweeked a few items plus found and corrected a data error in a query that would have prevented all the data from being displayed.

I only made one change today that was, I added a calculator to the Additional Charges Field on the Events I did this so if an amount is added before an event if you need to update this for say an overun you wont now have to do the math in your head.
